Condition
The general condition is described as very good for the car's age. The car has been treated with rust protection on the undercarriage since new and has minimal rust. The rust that the owner describes is minimal with surface rust on the rear fenders, just above the wheel arch and mud on the right front door. There are also rust bubbles in the paint on the joint under the taillights. Because the car has been protected against rust over the years, for example the floor and other load-bearing parts are rust-free. Current owner repainted the car in 2011 in the original color. The paint is nice in its luster, but there is wear and tear from use. The windows are original from 1988, so there are various small scratches. Mounted rims have some small marks in them but give a good impression. The tires are at least ten years old and the tread depth is measured at 3.5mm at the front and 4.5mm at the rear.
The interior is described as being in good condition. The front seats are in good condition for their age with normal wear and tear. The owner describes that there are stitches on the back seat that have gone up on both the left and right seat cushion. With a little knowledge, these cracks can be stitched together. The inner ceiling sags a bit. Instrument panel has dry cracks. Steering wheel, buttons and controls have wear and tear from years gone by. The entry strip at the right rear door is cracked.
Engine is described as being in very good condition. It has not been optimized or tuned, which is very unusual for the model. The gearbox and driveline are described as being in very good condition. The box is scratch-free and the overdrive works fine. Brakes are described as being in usable condition, but good for the age. The pads were changed a while ago but the car hasn't rolled much since the change. Mechanically, everything works as it should.
Service history
100 km ago, the timing belt, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, ignition cables, rotor, distributor cap, the stuffing box for the crankshaft, the clutch as well as the valve cover gasket and manifold gasket were changed. The rear axle has been renovated. The car has not been driven much in the last 12 years. There are receipts for the last service performed. The last inspection was carried out on 2024-06-03 with an approved result.
