Basic information and History

Domestically sold Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa from 1999 with only 30084km on the odometer which is now being sold from a collection of motorcycles. This is the first model of the Hayabusa and is an iconic superbike to say the least. Even though the model is 25 years old, it is still considered one of the world's best superbikes today.

Equipped with a 1299cc of 175hp/135nm connected to a 6-speed gearbox and an impressive top speed of over +300km/h. Suzuki shows figures for a 0-100km/h sprint in under three seconds. For some reason, this motorcycle is registered with a lower power in the papers with the Swedish Transport Agency, which is incorrect, however, gives a lower insurance cost.

Equipment and Options

There are various extra parts that have been photographed and shown in pictures. These parts are, among others, 4-2-1 system, mapped power commander, opened air filter and Yoshimura exhaust, and can be purchased in connection with the collection of the motorcycle. The parts are not included in the auction price. The parts have never been fitted as the current owner appreciates the motorcycle in its original condition.

Condition

The motorcycle comes in very nice condition with its low mileage. Originally the motorcycle was copper coloured, but an MC company professionally painted the bike in white and mounted OEM decals, this for a more modern look even though it is the first year model. Otherwise, the bodywork is original to the motorcycle. There are no worse scratches, dents or other dullness, but some minor marks from wear and tear. Everything we found during the documentation is photographed. The rims are undamaged and the tires are in good condition. In recent years, the ride has only gone to and from the inspection. This as the collector has invested time and miles on other bikes in the collection.

Engine is described as running fine and smooth. The gearbox shifts smoothly and pleasantly without any fuss. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Service history

In the winter of 2020, the bike was serviced at MotoMate in Motala. Oil, filter and brake fluid were changed and spark plugs and filters were cleaned. At the same time, steel brake hoses were installed. The current owner bought the motorcycle from a motorcycle collection, with an intermediary company, whose owner has passed away. Service book or papers could not be found in the estate. Last inspection was carried out on 2023-08-18 when the odometer read 30084 km.
