1987 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible
Basic information and history
Domestically sold SAAB 900 Turbo Convertible from 1987 with a low 74050km on the odometer. The car has only had one previous owner and the current owner acquired the car back in 1995. The car has never been driven in winter and has always been kept in a garage and is therefore both rust-free and in a very nice condition! An excellent collector's example from a bygone era when we built SAAB on Swedish soil.

Equipped with 16V 2-liter turbo four of approx. 175hp connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive.
Equipment and options
Well equipped with, among other things, A/C, leather upholstery, cruise control, power mirrors and windows and electric convertible.
Condition
The general condition of the bodywork is described as very good. Body is free of dents, rust, worse scratches and door knocks and is in an unrestored original condition. There is various wear and tear on the car, including marks and clear paint chips on the rear bumper, marks and paint chips on the front bumper and marks in moldings. The paintwork is in good condition and has a good shine. The glass panes are described as being in very good condition. The SAAB badge on the hood has lost its paint layer but a new one is included. The rims are in very good condition and the tires are described as very good.
The interior is in very good condition for its age with only light wear from use over the years. The front seats are without damage, tears or other damage, but have slight paint scratches. Door sides in good condition with very little wear. Steering wheel, buttons and controls in good condition. Instrument panel as well. The soft top is in good condition, both outside and inside. A newer stereo unit is installed but the speakers are original. All functions and electronics in the passenger compartment work as they should.
Engine is described as being in very good condition. Gearbox and driveline as well and are without noise. The brakes are also in very good condition. Mechanically, everything works as it should.
Service history
Last service was carried out in May 2023 in connection with the inspection carried out on 05/08/2023. There are various older service histories included.
Summary
A very nice collector's example of the SAAB 900 Turbo Convertible with low miles and very few owners since new. Perfect vehicle in a SAAB collection, or just as a classic summer car of which there are few low-mileage ones left today.
