Basic information and History

Swedish-sold SAAB 900 GL in sought-after 3-door hatchback body. Only 6 previous owners and 82405km on the odometer. The mileage can be guaranteed and the car is almost in original condition.

  • 3-door SAAB 900 GL from 1984
  • Only 6 previous owners
  • Barely 82,400 km on the odometer

Equipped with a 2-liter carburettor four of approx. 100hp/160nm connected to 4-speed manual box. Just enough horsepower for a fantastic ride on small roads. The car is spartan in its equipment and lacks both central locking and power steering.

Condition

The car comes in a good condition with low mileage and unnecessary cleaning has been avoided in order for the car to retain its original condition. The renovations carried out on the body include, among other things, that the right door has been replaced and painted. A better used stainless steel door was used. The right front fender has been replaced with a factory village from the SAAB club that has been painted. Surface rust at the bottom of the driver's door has been scraped off and new paint has been applied. A minor damage to the bonnet has also been taken care of. The car is today rust-free and the paintwork is described as fine, with occasional minor scratches. Renovations were carried out in 2023. Glass parts are in good condition. Chrome is described as slightly discolored around the front and rear window. New emblems are mounted on the hood and tailgate.

The interior of the car is in very good condition! Seat fabric and door sides are in good condition and have coped well with normal wear and tear from e.g. boarding and alighting. However, there are smaller marks at the bottom of both door sides. New inner ceiling is fitted by R&C Sufletter in Hästveda. A minor damage to the driver's seat is repaired by ColorGlo in Höör.

Mechanically, the car is described as being in mint condition! Engine and gearbox run fine with no noise or leakage. Brakes as well. The car's original rims are in good condition. They are 5.5 inch steel rims with caps mounted. Rim and canister were only available in the years 82 to 84 on SAAB 99 and 900. Pattern depth is measured to approx. 9mm.

Service history

Last service was carried out November 2023. Last inspection took place on 2023-11-24. Previous ownership history is available.

Summary

A nice SAAB 900 in very good condition. Few remain today with such low mileage.
