1968 Pontiac LeMans
Basic information and History
Pontiac LeMans was used as the model name for Pontiac's smaller and medium-sized models between 1961 and 1993. However, the model in the 90s was only a Daewoo/Opel under a different name. The third generation LeMans was built between 1968 and 1972 and also introduced the 4-door hatchback to the model range. The car came with four engine options, from a 4.1 liter straight six to a 7.5 liter V8.
The car is being sold from an estate and the spec below came with the car when purchased by the now deceased owner. Unfortunately, no door keys have been found for the car, but keys for the ignition lock and tailgate are found.
This Pontiac LeMans arrived in Sweden already in 1988 and has had 21 owners during 35 years. The car comes with Pontiac's updated straight six at approx. 180hp connected to a 3-speed automatic. Today, however, the car is equipped with a prepped 428cui, according to previous build specs from Rock n Roll Engineering.
