2007 Opel Roadster GT

Domestically sold Opel Roadster GT with very low 31.500 km on the odometer and only 3 users since 2007. The Opel Roadster GT is a rarely seen car on our roads as only 70 were sold in Sweden between the years 2007 and 2009. Vi Bilägare praised the car in an article from June 2020 for its high build quality and wonderfully mechanical driving feel. The model was short-lived despite its good reputation. Only 7500 examples were built during the three years of production. The model was forgotten between competitors such as e.g. Mazda MX5 and BMW Z4, which probably contributed to few number of cars sold in Sweden. An absolutely different convertible with good performance and high build quality.

Equipped with a 2-liter turbo inline-four of 260hp/360nm connected to a five-speed manual box and rear-wheel drive. The car is built on a base plate from GM and is unique in its kind as the construction consists of longitudinal beams and a floor partly made of fiberglass. With double triangle links front and back contributes to the old-fashioned mechanical feeling that only real rear-wheel drive cars offer! Guaranteed a good recipe for fun afternoons on the small roads out in our long country.

Equipped with, among other things, sports seats in full leather, infotainment system from Kenwood with Bluetooth, A/C, soft top, multifunction steering wheel with cruise control and wind deflector.

The car is described by the owner as being in good condition and the scant 31.500 km on the odometer reflect this well. The black paint is in good condition. Normally with stone chips and a little rubbing around the exhaust on the rear spoiler. Glass parts, chrome, moldings and emblems are all in good condition and without remarks. The car is described by the owner as rust-free and free of damage and repairs. The rims are free of damage and the tread depth measures approx. 5 mm.

Internally, the car is in good condition. The leather on the chairs is without damage, dry cracks or wear, but with the usual softening of the leather right where you sit. Dashboard and panel are in good condition. Unfortunately, the buttons on the steering wheel that control the stereo do not work. Probably because different stereo than original. The current stereo was installed by Uppsala Bilradio.

Engine and gearbox are described as being in very good condition. Under the hood it's neat, clean and free of leaks. Driveline and box show no signs of leaking either. Brakes are in good condition.

A different convertible that has the potential to become a future collector's car. This particular example is one of the few sold in Sweden and has a very low milage on the clock! Perfect for those who want something more unusual to drive around with the wind through their hair!
