Condition
This flagship comes in very nice condition and has been well cared for over the years. The brilliant silver paint is in good condition and with a good luster. There is a small amount of stone chips in the front, on the window and on the mirrors, but nothing that needs fixing or looks bad. The front has the usual wear in the form of marks and small damages in the paintwork on the right side. The rear bumper has small marks in the paint, probably from packing and unpacking, for example, bags. The reflective ramp in the middle of the tailgate has cracked and appears to have been glued on. The glass on the left rear view mirror has cracked. Both doors have been sanded down and repainted due to typical rust at the bottom. The rims are in very good condition with minor scratches on the left front rim. New Michelin tires are fitted all around. Despite small remarks, the car gives a very good overall impression.
The interior is in very good condition and it is clear that quality is a high priority for Mercedes' top models. The chairs have coped very well with the usual wear and tear that arises from stepping in and out. Steering wheel in very good condition with only minor wear on buttons. Other buttons and controls in good condition, also the instrument panel. The wooden details in the interior are in good condition and have held up well over the years. Interior roof in very good condition with only a minor stain on the right b seat. Door sides in good condition, however a small mark in the leather on the driver's door. The interior is perceived to be very nice with only small remarks that have arisen in 24 years.
Engine is described as being in very good condition. Gearbox and drivetrain are without noise or complaints and are described as being in perfect condition. Brakes are without remark. Mechanically, the car works flawlessly.
