Domestically sold Mercedes-Benz 230.6 from 1974 with approx. 251710km on the odometer. This example is unusual as most W114/W115 sold in Sweden came with a 4-cylinder engine. Condition
The general condition of the body is described by the dealer as very good. The car is free of rust, dents, worse scratches and door dents. The car has been rust repaired and repainted. Pictures are from before new paint was applied. The paint is today in a very nice condition with a good luster. The glass panes are described as being in good condition. Chrome, moldings and lamp lenses as well. The rims are in good condition without damage, but the tires are older, although with a nice pattern.
The car's original interior is in a fine condition. Free from damage to, among other things, chairs, door panels and door sills. The inner roof is in good condition with minor dirt spots, but sits where it should. Steering wheel, buttons and controls in good condition. Instrument panel has coped well with dry cracks and other normal wear and tear. However, there are three round holes in the instrument panel. Probably for having previously been able to run cables. The size is about the size of a penny. All functions in the cabin work just fine.
Engine is described as being in good condition. The engine has, among other things, a new ignition coil, new distributor cap, new ignition cables, pins and cylinder head gasket. Brakes are described as being in good condition. Mechanically, everything works as it should.
Service history
Owner has serviced on his own since 2019. Much under the hood is new and replaced. Last inspection took place on 2019-06-26 with an approved result.
