Bidders Highway has been given the honour to auction a smaller collection of Lotus cars. We have chosen to name this small but interesting collection to "The Triple Lotus Collection", and you will find all three cars here.
German imported Lotus Esprit Turbo See High-Wing from 1992 with only one user on Swedish soil. The high-wing version of Lotus Esprit is very unusual and according to data only 65 copies must have been manufactured. The car came to Sweden in the autumn of 2021 and today has rolled about 52500km. Nuvarnad meter position can be guaranteed by owners. These hand-built cars were the last cars to be built in the SE series and today stand noticeably higher in price than other Esprit models from the same time. The car is in a delicious condition!

Equipped with a 2.2-liter turbo-for approx. 265hp/350nm connected to 5-speed manual box and rear wheel drive. 0-100km/h is done in about 5 seconds and top speed is stated to be 265km/h. The engine also has an overboost that uprate the power to about 280hp for a short while. The car has received both turbo and chip from an S4s and the effect is slightly more than the original figures.
Equipment and options
Equipped with, among other things, unusual black leather interior, seats, turbo and chip from an Esprit S4s, rims from Esprit V8, A/C, electric lifts and electrical mirrors, wooden details, sunroof and Kenwood stereo with Clarion-speakers and amplifier.
Condition
The general condition on the body is described as good by the current owner. There are no door dents, worse scratches or dents in the paint. The car is also free from rust. There is a small amount of stone chipping and normal small wear, but no eye-catching remarks in a visible place. During the photoshoot, we have found little damage in the paint one door and some color chipping behind the plastic around the brake canal at the rear. Windows are in good condition. Mouldings, headlights and emblems as well. The rims are in good condition without damage and got new tires 2021-08-05.
The interior is in good condition and the seating is without regular wear and tear from eg. stepping in and out of the vehicle. The fabric has managed well and has not cracked, which is a common.. Instrument cluster and wooden details are in good condition. Door sides are also in good condition. Inserts are without wear and tear and in good condition. Ceiling is in good condition. Steering wheel, controls and buttons as well. All features in the vehicle works great.
The engine is described to be in good condition, just like the rest of the car. Gearbox and powertrain as well. Brakes are in good condition and have been upgraded to front brakes from a Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo and rear brakes come from an alpine A610. The rims from Esprit V8 measure 8.5x17 front and 10x18 in the rear and have a good amount of depth left. Mechanically, everything works as intended.
Service history
The car had a service 2021-07-08 where oil, filter and drive belt was changed. The battery was replaced with a new one 2023-05-29. It comes with a binder with various documentation from the car's life.
Summary
A very nice Lotus Esprit Turbo in the unusual "high-wing" version, made only in 65 copies. This is a great looking example for those looking for a different sports car from the 90s.
