Basic information and history

An absolute classic in the sportbike world with its race colours and timeless design, the Kawazaki ZX 750 J from 1992! This domestically sold gem has traveled only 60,386 km since 1992 and, according to the register, has had 19 owners. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see how many of these are actual users. The low mileage is due to the fact that it has been used as a garage decoration in recent years and the owner says that both engine and gearbox ran fine when the bike was put away.

Equipped with a 749cc four-cylinder engine of approx. 100hp/80nm@9000rpm coupled to 6-speed gearbox. Performance shows that the quarter mile is completed in approx. 11.2 seconds and the top speed is stated to be 240km/h. The machine is completely original but has received a slip-on muffler for a slightly better sound.

Condition

The general condition of the motorcycle is described as good by the current owner. There are scratches on the left rear cover and a little minor wear and tear in the paintwork around the front wheel and the rear view mirrors have a little minor scuffing. Lantern glass in good condition. Glass window as well. There is a small drill hole in the back cover. Despite its age, the motorcycle is perceived to be in good condition.

The bike was garaged a couple of years ago. When stopped it went fine without any problems. Brakes are described as being in OK condition.

Service history

The service history on the bike is unfortunately poor and it is therefore unclear when the last service was carried out. The last inspection was carried out on 2018-11-16. A small overhaul and service and then the bike is ready to get out on fun country roads again!

Summary

Classic 90s icon with a large number of fans worldwide. This particular copy needs a small review and check as it has been stored for a couple of years, but apart from this it is perceived to be nice!
