Basic information and History

Domestically sold superbike, Kawazaki Ninja ZX 12R from 2002 with barely 36318km on the odometer which is now being sold from a motorcycle collection. The motorcycle has had 14 owners over the years. How many of these are companies and not users cannot be read in the register. Current collector bought the motorcycle as a complement to their Hayabusa, as this is Kawa's answer to the aforementioned bike. An incredibly stable superbike with performance north of the insane mark!

Equipped with a 1199cc straight four of approx. 178hp/140nm linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Performance offers a 0-100km/h sprint in barely 2.6 seconds and a top speed of over ++300km/h.

Extra equipped with, among other things, slipon, power commander and gear indicator.

Condition

The general condition is described as good by the current owner. On the side, there is a broken plastic part on the cover under the tank. There are various small scratches from use, but normal given the age. The rims are in good condition and the tires have covered just under 1000km since they were fitted.

Engine is described as being in good condition considering the low miles. The bike has been optimized with slipon and power commander. The gearbox is described as shifting smoothly and smoothly. Brakes are in good condition. Mechanically, everything works as intended.

Service history

In 2022, the bike got new oil, filter and brake fluid. This was carried out by MotoMate in Motala. Since then it has traveled less than 1000km. Service book is unfortunately missing. Last inspection took place on 2022-07-19 at odometer reading 36068km.

Summary

Current owner bought this as he already had a Hayabusa and describes it as a very nice superbike in the right colour combination, black and gold! Compared to the Hayabusa, this ride feels more brutal, even though performance numbers are similar between the bikes.
