1997 Jaguar XJ 4.0 Executive

Basic information and History
Jaguar's classic XJ model internally called the X300 which was built between the years 1994 to 1997 under the direction of Ford. £200 million was invested in a new factory with welding robots that would build the new XJ model and pave a new path for the British motor industry. The X300 model would prove to be one of Jaguar's most successful models. The Jaguar XJ was offered in various trim levels, including Sovereign, Sport and Executive.
This is a Swedish-sold car with few owners. 5 previous owners since delivery in 1997. The car gives an incredibly nice impression and it can be seen that previous and current owners have taken good care of the car.


Equipment
Equipped with the Executive package which was only available on the last model from 1997. The equipment level included a wooden split steering wheel with wood trim on the instrument panel and door sides. Extended leather and wider rims like the Sport model.
In addition to this, the car is painted in a fantastic red metallic paint with a light beige interior.
Extra equipped with CD changer.


Condition
The car is in a very good condition after its 26 years in use, the seller has noted a small door opening/dent on the right rear door and some minor scratches where the seller refers to the image material.
All chrome details are in very good condition and all glass is completely stone chip free.
The paint has recently been varnish sealed by professionals.
The tire measures approx. 5mm all around.

The interior of the car is in almost new condition, all steps are in very good condition. The rear seats look unused and the front seats are also in very good condition.
There are no cracks in the wooden decor.
Noted is the feature on the center console/armrest cup holder that doesn't want to fold back properly.

The inner ceiling has been renovated as it is a common fault that it loosens over the years.
The renovation carried out by LH Bil-Båtinredning in Västberga.

Mechanical: The seller has noted that the fuel gauge can sometimes stop working.
Engine and gearbox are described as being in very good condition with no known leaks.

Service history
Last service performed in 2021 by Jaguar specialist. Previous service protocol is included and is documented in pictures under documentation.

Most recent inspection was carried out on 2022-08-18 without remark, previous inspection report is included and is also documented in pictures under documentation.
