Basic Information and History

When Honda launched its CBX in the late 70s, this was a real beast that few had seen before. With a straight 6-cylinder engine, directly taken from the racing bikes of the 60s, this was nothing for the beginner MC enthusiast. The top speed was around 220 km/h and already in its first iteration the 6-cylinder carburated engine produced over 100 horsepower.

It is above all the engine that makes Honda's CBX so sought after by collectors and enthusiasts today. Although there were other 6-cylinder motorcycles from the 70s, this is undeniably the one that got the most attention.

This example is an early 1980 model, sold initially new in the US. The unrestored original condition combined with the sought-after black paint makes this an absolute steal for someone looking for a CBX to add to their collection.

This model has seen a steady increase in value so take the opportunity before it's too late.
