The 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is truly an American icon. Featured in countless movies and a style reference since new, this car is appreciated even outside the sometimes narrow enthusiast circles.

This is a genuine GTA Fastback where the A indicates automatic transmission. The engine is Ford's 289 C-code.

Sold new in the USA and imported to Sweden with only one previous owner.

The GTA cars were equipped from the factory with the Mustang's handling kit, other stripes, and fog lights in the grill. The engine was upgraded to C-code spec and the front brakes with servo assistance.

Other attributes that characterize a GTA are GT tank caps, emblems around the body, and other stripes.

Exterior:
The car is overall in very good condition. The body has been renovated where the floor was partially replaced and it was gifted with a new rear fender.

13 years ago, the car was repainted in its original white color, the black stripes that came from the factory were replaced with red ones to better match the red interior.

The seller notes that there are some minor bubbles on the right door, a minor report on glass-scratches, and some minor discoloration on the chrome trim. In addition to this, some touch-ups have been made to the paint over the years.

Interior:
The interior is in really good condition. The dashboard and panels are in good condition and the red interior is new. Work carried out by an upholsterer under the current owner's direction.

The seller notes that the AM radio is not connected.

All lighting and instruments work as they should.

Mechanics:
Mechanically, the car works exactly as it should. No leaks or bad noises are noted.
The engine, gearbox, rear axle, brakes, and front suspension have all been renovated and many parts have been replaced with new ones according to original specs. We refer to the images on the documentation for the scope of work.

The last inspection was carried out in 2017, now exempt from inspection forever
The last service was performed in 2022 by the owner himself. Additional service records are not available, but we refer to the image material about engine renovation for more information. The mileage is estimated at approx. 10,000 km after renovation, this is not confirmed by the seller.
