Basic information and history
Domestically sold Ford Lotus Cortina mk2 from 1968 in very good condition. The car was delivered to its first owner in April 1968 and were put in storage for some time during the 70s. In the 80s, the car was lightly restored and painted red by its owner in Västerås. In 1989 the car is bought by Bosse Warmenius, known for his knowledge and racing history with the Lotus Cortina. Warmenius restored the car to original condition and had it painted in the classic white and green color scheme. The engine that is fitted is not matching numbers as the original engine was installed into a racing car. Current engine is built by Warmenius himself. The car was stored for some time at Lagan's Car Museum before it was brought out again and inspected. Lotus Cortina Register has inspected the car and certifies its authenticity.
