Basic Information and History

The 2012 Fisker Karma is a luxurious plug-in hybrid sedan designed by Danish automotive designer Henrik Fisker and manufactured by Fisker Automotive. As one of the first luxury cars to combine performance, elegance, and eco-friendly technology, it holds a special place in automotive history. This particular model, sold in Sweden and originally delivered by Callisma, the former general agent for Fisker, has 105,000 km on the odometer.

Despite having had five owners, the car has only had two regular users. The Fisker Karma is an electric hybrid that is always powered by electricity; it can drive between 60–80 km on pure electric power before a generator takes over to recharge the battery for an additional 420 km. This makes it easy to refuel and continue driving, eliminating range anxiety and ensuring a smooth driving experience.

Equipment and Options

This fully-equipped 2012 Fisker Karma has been upgraded with an aftermarket PowerSource module, providing two additional driving modes where the car can charge the battery while driving or stationary via the generator. Additionally, a rear trunk spoiler has been installed, enhancing the car’s already elegant and dynamic appearance.

Condition

The car is in good condition and was recently repainted due to a parking damage. In 2024, new paint was applied to both sides and the rear bumper. Earlier, in 2022, the front bumper, rear trunk, and hood were repainted. It has also been upgraded with the modern 2022 Karma Revero facelift.

There are a few minor stone chips on the front bumper and a small new crack in the windshield, which can be replaced through Pilkington. The tires have new tread depth, with about 6-7 mm remaining, and the rims are reported to be undamaged by the seller. The seats are in good condition without any damage, but there is normal wear on the entry sill plates. The headliner is in good condition with some minor dirt stains on the A-pillars and minor wear on the volume knobs.

The engine, transmission, and drivetrain are in good condition, and the brakes are functioning properly. Everything in the car is in fully operational condition.

Service History

The car underwent its latest inspection on September 1, 2023, at 90,000 km, and passed without any remarks. Inspection reports from this and previous inspections are available. It was last serviced by Fisker Lithuania in 2023.

Summary

A fantastic GT car, designed by Henrik Fisker to offer an eco-friendly and luxurious driving experience with four seats. Originally priced at 1.6 million SEK, this exclusive vehicle truly provides a super-luxurious experience. Despite the undeservedly poor reputation early models had due to "teething problems" – which have now been addressed on this car – it offers an outstanding driving experience.

With an impressive length of 5 meters and a width of over 2 meters, it is an extremely comfortable highway cruiser. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds without needing to shift gears. Additionally, the car is equipped with solar panels on the roof, further emphasizing its innovative and eco-friendly design.
