Basic information and History

Unique build that began life as a 1939 Ford Business Coupé but today goes by the name "Forvette". The body has been moved to an extended Corvette C5 chassis (model year 2000) and the engine, a 5.7-liter LS1 and gearbox (original Corvette 4L 60) have been included in the new build. The transaxle tunnel is built in aluminium and extended to fit the current body. This work was carried out by specialist companies. The car has been rebuilt by a very thorough and skilled builder over a long period of time. Unfortunately, the builder has passed away and the car is being sold by the family. Information about the vehicle can therefore be more sparse than our other vehicles on the site.

Condition

The car is consistently well built and the condition is very good. The builder was interested in just building the car and not so much in driving the vehicle around. Painted in a matte gray with black details all around and the paintwork is obviously in good condition. There are minor marks documented which can be seen in our photos of the item.

Custom interior with upholstered dashboard, deeper seats, various extra instrumentation, heating package, screen instead of rear view mirror and more.

Under the hood, as previously mentioned, lurks an LS1 from a Corvette C5 from the year 2000. The engine has been completely overhauled. Under the hood it is clean and tidy and no leaks have been found. Under the car, it is just as clean, tidy and cared for as the rest. The brakes are slotted and ventilated at the front and ventilated at the rear.

Var kommer uppgifterna om att fordonet är godkänt i detta utförande? Byggbesiktigad hos Testa men inte registrerad i aktuellt utförande hos Transportstyrelsen. 🤔

Jag har några frågor Finns det foto på koffortutrymmet? Är fett utrymme inrett med matta etc? Eftersom byggaren har avlidit, finns det dokumentation, färgkod, koder för att öppna dörrar och annan allmän info, uppstart, underhåll. Är bilen besiktningsbefriad och skattebefriad?

Jag kan inte se på Transportstyrelsen att förändringarna är inskrivna i registreringen, det står ej heller ombyggt fordon, vad gäller? Givetvis mkt viktigt att veta före köp

Hej, Jag är ombud för dödsboet och har begränsad kunskap om bilarna. Vad jag minns är bagageutrymmet inklätt och där sitter även ljudanläggningen. All dokumentation finns och bilen är uppvisad hos Testa. Den är dock inte registreringsbesiktigad. Koder och annat utgår jag från att de finns och efter att bilen reg. besiktigats bör den vara besiktningsbefriad. Reserverar mig för ev. felaktig information beroende på rådande omständigheter.

Hej några frågor. Det finns bara fakturan från Testa. Det finns väl ett underlag på bes ?. Öppnad dörrarna med fjärrkontroll ?. Är bilen helt färdigbyggd ?. Startar och allt funkar ?. Behöver veta för transport. Mvh Micke

I tillägg till fakturan finns ett "uppdragsavtal" som beskriver en byggbeskrivning och en slutbesiktning vilka båda handlar om vad som gås igenom vid besiktningen. Dock inget utfall av denna. Bilen är helt färdigbyggd möjligen med undantag av några mindre kosmetiska detaljer. Har inte startat bilen, men var med när byggaren startade den för drygt ett år sedan, maffigt ljud. Hans då beräknade byggkostnad ca 700 000 kr. Bilen finns i ett garage/verkstad i Hjo.

Hej igen. Tack för infot. Vid lastning behövs motorn vara igång annars blir det svårt att ta med fraktbolag. Inget du kan försöka dig på i morgon förmiddag ?. Det står hos Transportstyrelsen att den är avställd 1982. Finns det inga papper på om regbes är gjord och om det inte har blivit inskrivet hos Transportstyrelsen ?./Micke

Tyvärr inte. Reservationspriset är inte uppnått. Kommer att ha en diskussion i morgon med ägaren och Bidders Highway.

Hej igen. Ja vi får se vad slutpriset blir. Då finns det frågor kvar vad gäller regbesiktning och ev SFRO bes m.m. Men om det blir affär så behöver fraktbolaget kunna flytta den för egen motor. Kan någon provstarta idag ?. Mvh Micke
