1963 Crescent 1163 Raket
Basic information and history
Bidders Highway has been honoured to help sell a large collection of motorcycles, motocross and mopeds as the owner is unfortunately no longer able to drive them. Due to the condition of the owner, no questions can be asked about the objects. The information we managed to arrange is therefore slightly less than on our other objects.
The item in this auction can only be picked up on a specific date, Saturday 6/7 at 12.00. Please be understanding about this.
This fantastic "ass rocket" (a nickname used in Sweden for this model) from 1963 comes in a very nice and untouched original condition. Like all later Raket, it came with Husqvarna's "flintstone engine". Some details have been painted but the moped is in original condition. Even the tires are the same tires that were on it when it rolled out of the factory. It has been three or four years since the moped was used and it is in need of an overhaul and check before it is put into use. A pair of new tires might not be a bad idea either!
Please look through all photos carefully to form an idea of the condition. Unfortunately, questions cannot be asked about the objects as the owner is not able to answer.
Condition
Overall fine original condition with accompanying patina that has occurred over all the years it has been used. The paintwork is in relatively good condition with traces of use. The saddle is complete and nice. Chrome details in good condition considering age. Since it has been standing for four years, it needs an overhaul and service before starting up.
Summary
Perfect Swedish classic to use at the vintage rally for mopeds, or just to simmer down to the kiosk for some ice cream!
The description of this auction item is, to the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Before the description is approved by the seller, Bidders Highway gathers a range of details about the listing from the seller and performs a level of background checks. However, it is up to the bidder to ensure that the description is correct and to do whatever research they deem necessary before placing a bid which is then binding. Bidders Highway does not carry out a full inspection of the object and the transaction is between the buyer and the seller. We encourage all potential bidders to ask questions and use the comments section for additional information. See our general terms and conditions for full details.
