Background & information
This is the opportunity to bid on a fantastic Cadillac Coupe de Villé. One of this iconic brand's landmark models. This is the first generation Coupé de Ville that was manufactured between 1959 and 1960. The first generation is best known for its large fins with double taillights designed as a rifle bullet.

 Cadillac's 1959 advertisement read: "In its great beauty and majesty ... in its fine performance ... the elegance of its Fleetwood interior ... and in the skill of its craftsmanship ... it is by far the finest fruit of Cadillac's infinite the pursuit of quality. "

Today the 59 Coupe de Ville really stands out with its total abundance of everything. Looking in the rearview mirror you might even think you were driving the batmobile with its big fins, the ride is super smooth and the car really floats along the road with the wide bench seat up front also doing its job to shield you from any roughness to the road surface. 

This is the way luxury was defined 60 years ago and in some sense its still very relevant today. And it is no surprise that the 1959 Coupe de Ville became a true halo car for Cadillac, revered and recognized just as much by collectors as the general public.

The car has a new fresh light blue metallic paint job and a brand new interior. 
A belt is missing for the AC compressor.
