Condition
This Austin Cooper comes in absolute top condition. Complete renovation was carried out in 2016 and then, among other things, the fenders, front, windshield and all chrome details were changed. The car also received new paint. In the same vein, they also took the opportunity to remove the hydrolastic suspension in the rear carriage and install a new cradle with conventional shock absorbers.
The paintwork is described as being in good condition, as are the glass parts. No comments have been received on either chrome, moldings or emblems. The Minilite rims come with new Vredstein tires. The original rims with caps are included.
The interior of the car comes in a good condition and according to the current owner is an untouched original interior. The little change in the cabin is the wooden steering wheel from Monolita. It matches nicely with the wooden instrument panel with tachometer and the wooden gear lever knob. All original parts remain for the car.
Mechanically, the car is described as being in perfect condition. The engine was overhauled in 2014 and received new bearings, piston rings, valve guides and springs, flat top, new oil pump and replacement of all hoses and gaskets. No leaks have been noted.
