Basic information and History
A well-maintained Swedish-sold Volvo PV444 with only 4 owners.
1947 was the year when Volvo launched the model PV444 and the order at Volvo were fully booked and the waiting time long.
The PV model took its design from well-known American car manufacturers in the 40s, mainly from the manufacturer Pontiac which provided the inspiration. But in typical Swedish fashion, Volvo wanted to produce a smaller and more fuel-efficient car that was better adapted to Swedish conditions. And the PV was born, "The passenger car."

The odometer reading is 98,509 km, which cannot be guaranteed by the seller as the odometer reading is limited.


Equipment and Options
The car is additionally equipped with 2 extra lights from Pilot and a blue gangster cap.
A sought after accessory is a flower vase in crystal glass (sought after curiosity accessory).
The car rolls on original rims.

Condition
The car underwent a total renovation over a 10-15 year period, the entire car was fully painted in the late 90s which still maintains good quality.
The seller describes the car as basically rost free underneath and on the body. Noted is wear on the right vent window. There are no remarks on chrome, emblems or moldings.
There is no damage to the tires or rims, the tire pattern is approx. 7mm all around.

In terms of interior, the seller describes that there is wear on the chairs as the original upholstery from 1947 was left untouched, however, there are new door sides, inner ceiling, rear shelf and fine original carpets renovated or replaced.
Dashboard and panel are in good condition.


Mechanically, the engine & gearbox are described as being in very good condition. The seller estimates that the car has driven about 4.000 km after the renovation.
