Basic Information & Background

The Volvo 960 Executive was Volvo's answer to the BMW 7-series and Mercedes S-class models. Extended by 15cm for more legroom and always delivered with their nice and strong straight 6-cylinder engine of 3L and 204hp. A sought-after model and machine among today's enthusiasts! This object is a Swedish-sold car that is incredibly well maintained and in very good condition. The Executive model was built by Nilssons Special Vehicles in Laholm. A unique change made to the Executive was that the small window in the C-pillar was removed for less visibility into the cabin, and contributes to a slightly different and distinctive design of the car.

Condition

Exterior: Very few remarks on the exterior, please see the photos for a more detailed description. The car has been well looked after over the years and has always been kept indoors during the winter, which is also reflected in the condition of the car outside and underneath

Interior. The car has a nice blue interior with some traces of use. Complete and clean upholstery with marks on some plastic parts.

Mechanically: Engine and box work flawlessly and the car runs fantastically well! Starts easily and runs very smoothly and nicely as expected of the model. A major service where, among other things, the timing belt, water pump, oil and filter were changed was done 20 miles ago 2022-05-30. AC works and cools well. The meter housing has been changed when the speedometer stopped working on the previous one, hence the meter reading on the instrument does not match the car. Original meter housing is available.

Service history

Service book is available for the car and has been very well maintained by the owners over the years. Newly inspected 2022/08 without remarks and new major service 2022/05. 2 original keys are available for the car and folder/instruction book.
