Background & information
The Volvo 740 GL was a popular car model produced by Volvo between 1984 and 1992. It was part of Volvo's 700 series, which was known for its build quality, safety considerations and solid performance. The 740 GL was a mid-size sedan that gained a reputation for its practicality, reliability and comfortable ride.

The 740 GL was available with a range of engine options, this example being fitted with the reliable 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine delivering 115bhp.

This example has only had 5 owners since 1988 and was sold new here in Sweden.

Equipment
The car is additionally equipped with a voltmeter in the instrument cluster.
4-speed automatic transmission.

Condition
No damage to the bodywork.
No renovations have been carried out on the body.
There is incredibly little rust in 2 wheel arch. And a little in a joint in the engine compartment.
Glass parts are in good condition.
There are some stone chips in the paint and the seller refers to the image material.
No remarks on chrome, moldings or emblems.
The rims are made by Volvo 780 rims
No damage to rims or tires.
The tire's tread depth is 5mm.
No comments on lighting.
No leakage has been noted.
Engine and transmission are described as "functioning as they should""
Backs on brake pads: Ok
Drums described as "Ok"

Steering wheel and controls are worn: See pictures. On the light button and steering wheel.
Dashboard and panel are in good condition.
The inner roof has some wear: It hangs a little at the sun visors and a little at the back
The car has some mechanical/electrical faults: Everything works, but sometimes the seat belt warning stops working.

The trip meter stopped about 3 years ago, but I have not driven more than a maximum of 100 km a year. Would appreciate that it hasn't done 170,000 km yet.
