According to history, this Swedish-sold Volvo 240 was in service from 1980 until 1989, when it was parked away to receive some love. According to information, the car has had 16 owners over the years. Today, the car has been rebuilt and is equipped with Volvo's V8444S connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Volvo V8 is 4.4 liters and packs approx. 315 hp. To bring down the newfound power, a multi-plate diff has been fitted to the rear axle. BC-Coilovers are fitted for slightly better chassis response. The car has a slightly more discreet look so as not to stand out too much.

In addition to registration with the above-mentioned specifications, there is, among other things, a gearbox from BMW, Mac Pherson front suspension with BC coilovers, rigid 10-bolt GM rear axle with diff brake, 2-circuit brake system with power amplifier and disc brakes in both front and rear.
Condition
The interior of the car is in a well maintained condition. Lighter modifications such as older style sports seats are fitted to match the GT instrumentation. A nice wooden steering wheel from Nardi has also found its way into the cabin. Instrument panel is flocked and instruments in the panel have some patina on them. A small screen for control system and information is installed.
Mechanically, the car is in a fine condition with no complaints from the engine. Leakage has not been noted. The engine that is installed has reportedly traveled 9000 miles. New rally type clutch was installed in 2023. There is some noise from the gearbox, and this is reportedly due to the clutch being mute. Brakes are described as new.
