Basic information and History

There are many icons in the automotive world, but few as recognized and popular as the classic VW Beetle. That it was produced in over 23 million copies is a proof in itself, and most adults today have some personal memory with one of these fantastic cars! This fine and low-mile object is sold in Sweden and has only had 6 owners who have taken good care of the car. The last owner bought the car in 2011 and drove the car very sparingly. The car underwent a complete restoration in 1996-1998 and is still in a very nice condition with few remarks.


Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in very good condition on the outside apart from a couple of minor marks that are documented in the album. The car was repainted during the renovation done in the late 90s and is perceived as a professional work and is still in very good condition. Among other things noted are the chrome on the bumpers that have become over the years, one or two minor marks on the paintwork and the left jack mount. Glass parts are in very good condition. The car has the original wheels in good condition and the tires have approx. 7mm tread left but are of an older model. Interior: The interior upholstery appears to be in good condition except for wear on the driver's seat and a tendency for sun fading in the back seat. The seller says that there is a complete interior for the car that can be included with the purchase. The red interior contrasts really well with the paint and the combination is just the icing on the cake. The instrument panel is also free of cracks or major signs of sun fading. Radio is present but with unclear function. The controls are apparently original controls in fine condition with a little patina. All gauges and other functions in the interior are in a good and working condition. The low meter reading is correct according to history and is guaranteed by the seller. Mechanics: The seller informs that the engine also works great and runs great on the road. It is noted that the rear engine mount should be replaced in the near future. As can be seen, the engine has been well maintained and had many parts replaced over the years. The last service was carried out by the owner himself in 2022 and there is no service book. Inspected 2022/05/04 without remarks. The car runs straight and fine on the road and all brakes are in good condition. Please see all the photos in the album.
