1972 Plymouth Duster 360
The Plymouth Duster is a rather unusual model in these latitudes, which in this version is a full-fledged muscle car despite its size. The Duster model arrived in 1970 and was based on the Plymouth Valiant at the front but with a redesigned "semi-fastback" body from the a-pillar to the rear.
This example also has a nice history and is also upgraded from the little 6 to an upgraded 360 small block engine with a slightly sharper cam, Magnum intake, Holley "double pumper" carburettor, headers and a relatively new 3" exhaust system with Flowmaster- damper that gives a lovely rumble.
The car was sold new in the USA and imported by a Swedish Mopar profile, after which the car has been taken care of and carefully renovated to the fine condition it has today. The odometer today stands at 55,900 miles, which corresponds to approx. Swedish 8,800 miles, but cannot be guaranteed by the seller.
The car came to Sweden in 2019 and has had 3 owners. It has been well taken care of and is in a nice and well maintained condition. Stainless chassis, newly painted in 2019 in the original color "Sahara Beige" and with black 15 inch Chrysler O.E Steel Wheel with Dogdish caps.
The model offers both comfort, good space and, not least, very good performance. It both feels and runs really well and stands out in the crowd on our Swedish roads.

Condition
Exterior: The car gives a very nice impression, the paint is of a high standard and the chrome shines with a few remarks! During the renovation, the car was painted in the original color Sahara Beige and still presents itself well.
There are a couple of minor marks in the paint, including above the left front wheel where there is a small dent in the body and also a small bubble in the paint on the right rear fender. Glass, moldings and emblems are in good condition except for a little scratch on the molding above the rear wheel arch and rear view mirrors have some discoloration in the chrome. The original wheels are in good condition and the tires have approx. 6 mm tread depth. The undercarriage is also in a nice stainless condition. Please see the photos in the album and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Interior: The interior is in good condition and has a nice 2-tone color combination. There are a few notes on the interior such as the front seats that have some seams that have come up, a small panel piece that is missing as well as the ashtray. A pleasant environment to sit in and in good working order simply. New floor mat 2019. Noted that tank gauge does not work. See the photos in the album for more info and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Mechanically: The car runs incredibly well mechanically, it shifts and there are no known leaks under the car. Brakes work great and the car has no known mechanical faults. Both engine and box have been inspected and also appear to be in very good condition aesthetically. Last service performed May 2023 by the owner There is no previous service record. Brakes all around are in good condition and there are no complaints on the drivetrain. Tax and inspection exempt. See the photos in the album for more info and feel free to ask questions in the comment field!
Summary
An increasingly popular model not least because of David Freiburger's "Crop Duster" in Motortrend's program series Roadkill. A future classic in fine condition and with a nice musk car body and which runs very well. Just turn the key and enjoy the summer!
