1951 MG TD MIDGET

Basic information and History
The MG TD Midget was produced from 1950 to 1953 where it shared the powertrain from the earlier TC model. The biggest difference on the TD model was now that it had individual front wheel suspension with coil springs. The TD model was longer and wider than its predecessor.
This example is from 1951 and was previously owned and owned by a true MG
enthusiast. The car was first registered in Sweden in 1989 and is in an exceptionally good condition.


Equipment and Options
The car is 4-speed, has an updated intake "funnel" for better air flow, which contributes to the lovely engine sound from the machine. Painted in 2-ton solid red, extra windshields brokland style and option to fold down the regular windshield. Original rims.

Condition
The condition is incredibly good for its age and it can be seen that it has been well cared for over the years. The seller has noted slight oil and water leakage, which is not unusual for such an old car.
The engine and transmission are described as being in very good condition and it starts easily and runs cleanly.
The undercarriage and body are described as being in very good condition.
The steering wheel and controls have minor wear and the dashboard/panel is described as having wear from use.

Mechanically and electrically, the car works as it should.
For safety reasons, the seller has connected main beam light to the ignition as well as rear lights and indicators. Seat belts are also fitted.

The seller did an oil service and round lubrication in 2022. The service was carried out by him self.
