Basic information and history

German-imported Mercedes-Benz CLK 230 from 2001 with 138,946 km on the odometer. The car was already imported to Sweden in 2004 and has since had four users. The car comes in stylish Tanzanite blue metallic matched against blue softtop and light leather interior with walnut wood. Equipment level is Elegance and the car is in a well maintained condition.

Equipped with 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine with compressor and approx. 197hp/280nm connected to a five-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Equipped with, among other things, ACC, full leather interior, details in walnut wood, electric lifts, electric mirrors, automatic gearbox, electric cab and more.

Condition

The current owner describes the general condition of the body as very good. Body is free of dents, worse scratches and door knocks. According to the previous owner, the screen edges were replaced before repainting, but not because crash damage and the work looks professionally done without color difference. The body is described as free from rust. The paintwork is in very good condition with only normal wear such as a small amount of stone chips and gives a good overall impression. Chrome moldings and chrome are described as being in good condition. Headlight glass is matte. The grill has some paint peeling. Window glass in good condition with minor stone chips on windshield. The rims in good condition with minor scratches on individual rims. Rims are shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 all around. These were installed last year and there is at least 6mm tread depth left.

The general condition of the interior is described as good. Driver's seat has the usual wear when stepping in, but without any damage or tears. The seat cushion has a small light stain. Door sides in good working order with only minor wear and tear, however the wooden inlays on the right door have cracked and been glued together. Instrument panel, steering wheel and buttons in good condition. Inner roof is intact and sits where it should. Instrument panels where clock and gear are indicated have pixel errors. Otherwise, all functions in the passenger compartment work as they should. Modern stereo with Bluetooth are fitted. The original stereo is of course included.

The engine is described as having no complaints. Gearbox and drivetrain work fine without any noise. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Service history

Service with oil change was carried out at the beginning of May this year at 138607km. New steel wires for the cab mechanism have been installed. The service book is completed according to the manufacturer's intervals. Most service is carried out at MB workshops and then at independent workshops. There are some longer periods without service, but this is because the car was then stored away. There are some invoices from previous service occasions. Last inspection took place on 2023-09-04.
