2015 Ducati Scrambler

Basic information and Background
A lightly modified example of Ducati's popular Scrambler model. Low miles and fantastic condition.

The Scrambler is a real no-nonsense back-to-basics machine from Ducati that received a warm reception at launch and has remained one of the brand's most popular models alongside the Monster. The Scrambler came in many variants and this example is called "The Icon" which aims to offer a stripped-down and no-frills driving experience on both asphalt and dirt roads. There is room to bring a passenger and the upright riding position makes this motorcycle both fun and easy to ride.

This motorcycle was put into use in Sweden 2015-06-10, current owner took over from the first owner 2016-05-30.

Equipment and Options
This MC is slightly modified to further enhance the Ducati design and give a "cleaner" look. The muffler and handlebars were replaced with Ducati original accessories, rearview mirror, license plate holder, and turn signals were replaced. Finally, the manifolds have been wrapped for a sportier look. All original parts are still available and of course, come with the motorcycle.

Condition
With only 3055 km on the odometer, the condition is almost new. What can be noted is minimal wear on the covers of the tank just where the knees meet. The seat shows no visible wear. We refer to the pictures for more details.

Service History
This MC has a complete service history and was serviced according to the manual until the current owner took over. Then ridden 735 km since 2016. Now it's time for a basic oil change.

Summary
The Ducati Scrambler is a wonderfully analog and simple MC in all models-variants. The focus is on pure driving pleasure, regardless of the road surface. Although the design is a retro flirt, the riding experience is very much state of the art with both a powerful engine and modern brakes and dampers. This example has been well taken care of, has unusually low miles, and offers a safe purchase for the next user with its well-documented history.
