Basic information and History

This unique Custom Ford Hotrod began life as a 1932 Ford Model 18 Tudor. The car has undergone a solid rebuild and was given the name "White Ice" after completion. Instead of the original machine, a V8 of 3.6 liters and barely 65hp, an LT1 Interceptor has been refurbished and stuffed into the car. The engine is mated to a manual gearbox and the power is enough to scare most people. The car is being sold from an estate and the builder has unfortunately passed away. For this reason, the information we have is more sparse than on our other objects.

  • Custom Ford Rod "White Ice" from 1932
  • Steel body and solid Heidts chassis
  • Chevrolet LT1 Interceptor with manual transmission

Condition

The car comes in a very well maintained and well built condition. It is built from largely new parts from the USA. The steel body is painted clear white and the paintwork is in very good condition. Chrome details are also in equally good condition. Spoke rims painted in blue in very good condition and plenty of pattern left on the tires. Glass and lanterns are also in good condition. The mother-in-law hatch is no longer there, but is today a luggage compartment where we find pieces of the stereo construction that is in the car.

The interior is also in very good condition. The seats come from a Porsche 928 and have been reupholstered and had the car's name embroidered on the back. The steering wheel is from Budnik Wheels and the gear lever from B&M. Simpler instrumentation in center console. The fabric roof is held up with lacquered braces and cannot be folded back. Doors and tailgate are opened using electricity via a button. The hardtop is of the Carson type.

The chassis is built from new quality parts ordered from the USA. The rear suspension is from well-known Heidts and is a copy of the Jaguar E-type rear suspension, ie independent suspension and in this case with adjustable coilovers. The front carriage is also from Heidts and has adjustable dampers. The brakes are ventilated and from Wilwood.

The engine is a completely refurbished GM 57LGSGT and according to the statement, will be specially manufactured for American police cars and will go by the epithet LT1 Interceptor. Rebuilt with electronic injection. The gearbox is a 5-speed manual gearbox, probably with dogleg.

Summary

Unique build that has been produced with enormous precision over a long period of time. The car's owner has unfortunately passed away and the car is now looking for a new owner who wants to roll along Sveavägen on a warm summer night.
