1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic
Chevrolet Caprice, a model you can almost call an American Volvo 240. A not entirely different popular and popular car that was produced in several different body styles over many years! This 1977 Classic model is a Swedish-sold car with a fine history, the coveted arched rear window and upgraded with a larger 400 engine for better speed resources. Apart from the engine, the car is otherwise original and in what can be considered good condition with few remarks! The model has received a boost in recent years purely in terms of value and interest on the market and is one of the slightly more "usable" models.
Condition
Exterior: The car is in a good stainless condition exterior, never rusted and well maintained over the years. Our understanding is that the car has been repainted at some point during its life, but there is no information on when or where. Notes include cracked paint on the right rearview mirror as well as various plastic parts around with minor cracks in them. See our detailed photos for more info!
Interior: The classic interior is unrenovated and still in superb original condition. The large plush-covered armchairs/sofa offer high comfort! All equipment such as electric lifts, AC, electric chairs etc. worked at the time of the photo shoot. See pictures for more detailed info.
Mechanically: The car runs fantastically well with its relatively newly built 400 engine, according to the seller approx. 3000 miles since it was built. The rest of the drivetrain works just as well and the car was inspected in 2021/04 without any complaints.
Summary
A fun everyday classic from the 70s that can absolutely be used for everyday use, or for summer cruising! Our opinion is that it will hold its value well and probably never get cheaper than it is today. An opportunity to acquire a fine stainless example with a completely correct engine!
