Basic Information & Background

The Chevrolet Camaro is without a doubt one of the most sought after and popular muscle cars ever, and here's another example that's something out of the ordinary! 1967 was the first year of the model and was received with great anticipation. Continuing, there was the model with both V8 and V6 engines and of course Coupé and Cabriolet. However, this convertible has been updated and refurbished to a whole other level with a lot of old-school thinking about the mechanics and design. Painted in 2020 in a very stylish and very dark blue paint with a newly renovated black interior. A more modern stereo is installed and they have also laid out Dynamat sound and vibration insulating material in the exposed and important places. The heart of the car is a brand new 383ci Chevrolet small block with barely a hundred miles on it. The power rating is closer to 400hp in the engine and it is paired with a brand new 3-speed automatic gearbox. A powerful and very reliable V8 engine that sounds absolutely fantastic!


Condition

Exterior: Refurbished 2019-2020 by the previous owner in Denmark where the car was originally sold. Not a screw has been left untouched and only the best parts have been used in the renovation. The dark blue paintwork is still in top condition and the same applies to all the chrome details, moldings and emblems. The Coys rims sit perfectly on the car and they are also in absolute top condition.

Interior. Really nice completely renovated interior in black with bucket seats and white details, new floor mat and convertible roof. There are no comments on the condition, and also in the interior, all parts have been refurbished or replaced with new parts. Mechanical. Barely driven in 383 Chevrolet SB with new automatic transmission. There are no remarks or known faults on the drivetrain. Professionally and very nicely installed with, among other things, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carburettor, Hedman Hedders, aluminum radiator and also a full "dressup" kit. A real "jewelry box" so to speak! There are also new, more modern brakes from the Corvette and new bushings all around. The car is inspected and is now tax and inspection exempt. Summary

A dream combination of 60s design with a suitably updated driveline that suits both nice cruising and long burnouts. A really well built car with only the best parts and just dying to get out on the road. An opportunity to acquire a ready-built, multi-year project that would cost much more today to build yourself!
