Basic information and history

Bidders Highway has been honoured to help sell a large collection of motorcycles, motocross and mopeds as the owner is unfortunately no longer able to drive them. Due to the condition of the owner, no questions can be asked about the objects. The information we managed to arrange is therefore slightly less than on our other objects. The objects have not been started by us.

The item in this auction can only be picked up on a specific date, Saturday 6/7 at 12.00. Please be understanding about this.

BSA Cheney 500 from 1975 built by the late Bengt Åberg. Eric Cheney became famous by building lightweight motocross bikes on BSA frames and had great success in the 70's. This BSA Cheney 500 has been raced by current owners, as always under number 57, and also famous drivers.

Condition

The bike comes in usable condition and has been stored for a long period. A proper review and service is needed. The saddle is in good condition. The paint has traces of competition use with usual paint scratches on the tank.

Summary

Very cool 70s motocross with a long history from competitions. The bike is now looking for a new enthusiastic owner who can get it out into the trails again!
