Basic information and History

Swedish-sold Audi A4 convertible from 2003 in unusually well-preserved condition with only 129,500km on the odometer. The car has had 5 private users and, according to the current owner, has not been used in the winter and has been stored in a heated garage.

This is the perfect cab for those looking for an affordable car with high comfort for up to four people, which is rare today. The sound from the six cylinders clearly contributes to a more pleasant driving experience!

The car is Swedish registered and the registration number shown in the pictures is correct. The French plate was used during a film shoot and remains on the car. The Swedish plates are of course included with the vehicle upon sale.

Equipped with Audi's 3-liter V6 at 220hp/300nm connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. 0-100km/h is accomplished in under 8 seconds with a top speed of approx. 235km/h.

Equipment and Options

Electric seats, Electric windows, Elcab, Cruise control, Trip computer, 2-zone ACC, Wind deflector through-loading hatch, Bi-Xenon and a good sound system, etc. USB power outlet retrofitted. Even with the cabriolet folded down, there are still room for a golf bag in the car. 

Condition

The car is in unusually good condition for its age. It is clear that both the current and previous owners have taken very good care of the car. The paint still has a nice shine and the car is rust free. The overall impression is very good and clearly above the ordinary.

Smaller scratches are found at the bottom towards the rear wheel, but are most clearly visible if you are very close to ground level. The plastic on the side of the exhaust pipe is slightly rubbed. There is a very small dent on the hood. For those who look carefully, you can see some smaller rock outcrops, but nothing eye-catching. The car has not been crashed. The condition of the mouldings, lamp lenses and emblems is very good. New windshield was installed in 2023. The rims are 17" original Audi S rims and are shod in Pirelli Zero that have traveled 8,000 km. There are scuff marks on one rim. The tires are evenly worn.

The interior is in a nice condition and the leather covered power seats show minimal wear with no damage and look almost new. Door panels and door sills have coped well with usual wear and tear from e.g. steps in and out but marks are present. The dashboard is undamaged with some scratches on the buttons and controls, which the seller states otherwise work flawlessly. There are also some scratches in the plastic on the glove compartment and gimbal tunnel. The soft top's fit is perfect and holds completely tight. There is no wind noise at high speeds. There is a repair around the rear window on the convertible top.

The seller certifies that the engine and drivetrain work flawlessly without leaks or oil consumption. Chassis with suspension, damping, steering and brakes are also faultless.

Service history

The car is serviced according to plan with a timing belt change in 2022 and gearbox oil in 2023. Service booklet is available and inspected, among other things. in June 2023.

Summary

A really good-looking, perfectly functioning and well-equipped summer cab for short or long trips. There are not many four-seater cabs to choose from and this is clearly a top example.
